Ever imagined what Darth Vader’s iconic Star Wars helmet would’ve looked like, had it been designed by artists like Mister Cartoon and Marc Ecko? For a venture dubbed The Vader Project, creatives Shag, Jermaine Rogers, The Pizz, Paul Frank, Ron English, Jeff Soto, Michelle Valigura, Plasticgod, Suckadelic and Amanda Visell among others, have been brought together to customise 1:1 scale replicas of the actual helmet from George Lucas’ original trilogy. Featuring 100 re-imagined Vader helmets, this exhibition is the fourth and final installment of the Project and will be on show in Los Angeles for 10 days in June.

I spend a lot of time thinking about the way memory and sight work together. I don’t think we remember in “pictures” or long videos… but something in between. Perhaps we also sense, at times, more than 30 fps, and unexpected parts of the brain fire when we are presented with certain objects and forms.
I really love this video. More info on Trey here. Undoubtedly talented.
